Borat Myspace Page

Here is a link to noted journalist Borat Sadiyev's Myspace page. It contains clips of Borat kneeling al Qaeda style with the Kazakh flag and various muskets hanging in the background, pictures of Borat in his native village tossing onions at Gypsies and homosexuals, and a rocking song from Kazahkstan's 2nd most important pop band playing in the background.

See it here.

If there is one more item of Uzbek Propoganda claiming that we do NOT drink fermented horse urine, give death penalty for baking baigels, or export over 300 tonnes of human pubis per year, then we will be left with no alternative but to commence bombardment of their cities with our catapaults.

So Borat was the no. 1 movie in the US this past weekend, and it made more than Santa Clause 3. What's crazy is that it did this despite being in virtually no theaters - I mean, here it's only in a couple of the boutique theaters. Near us it's at the Chase and it's at the Creve Coeur 12.

It's supposed to open up wider this weekend, though, which is good, cos we can finally see the thing free of impending papers and arguments.

From IMDB: Cohen's Borat rang up an estimated $26.1 million at the box office despite playing in just 837 theaters -- that's $31,500 in each theater. By contrast Allen's The Santa Clause 3, which finished in second place, took in $20 million on 3,458 screens -- or $5,780 per screen.
